I'm not sure if that'd actually feel better though ... camera tricks behind moving objects can be well tricky :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15354244706836865812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097810015273635575.post-72921304204248577792013-01-25T09:34:01.710-05:002013-01-25T09:34:01.710-05:00That's what I originally did. But it didn't look right to me with the lo-fi sci-fi look of everything else, so I switched the colors to match the actual world (this leaves it looking more like a radar display, unfortunately). I think that shades of blue as a monochrome map would work for a popup, but might be too distracting to have on the minimap. Right now the minimap is not a huge success for actual navigation--I use it more for debugging to verify that the ship is where the system things it is over the terrain.Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10895207997945851010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097810015273635575.post-23255060211355319432013-01-25T09:31:55.526-05:002013-01-25T09:31:55.526-05:00That's a good idea! It would be nice to move it farther back or to tilt up towards the horizon at "high" speeds.Morganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10895207997945851010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097810015273635575.post-36907061036389571392013-01-25T00:46:20.799-05:002013-01-25T00:46:20.799-05:00That is pretty astoundingly cool.
